Hollywood stars are making a case for 90s chainmail dress as *the* party dress of 2018!

She didn't *always* hit the right note when it came to her sartorial choices, but Paris Hilton's 21st birthday #lewk was iconic... for all the right reasons. A barely-there chainmail dress with loose cowl neck, sparkling spaghetti straps and, well, no back at all - it was a fearless fashion moment that near-enough defined party dressing for the decade.

While Kim's chainmail number was very much Paris Hilton-inspired, Blake's had a higher neckline a waterfall hem. Both, however, sported spaghetti straps and backlessness.

Same night. Different women. Very different styles. Believe us now?
